Acrylic on wood, paper and canvas are the specialty of the Spanish artist Montse Martin. Born in Lleida, Montse grows in a family linked to art and sport. At 14, he moved to London as a member of the Spanish National Rhythmic Gymnastics won the gold medal at the World Atenas’91. After removal of the gym, her life definitely geared towards her other passion: the world of design and art. Soon studied graphic design at the IDEP School of Barcelona, exercising later as a graphic designer in advertising agency “ADOS communication” for more then venture into the world of photography, through its partner, photographer and actor Mark Schardan that teaches with her portraits, the value of the “look”.

“The title of the collection, although it seems the most obvious part of a joke … when constantly asked why I did not paint men and I replied that there was no man that motivated me enough to spend hours and hours front of her face … Finally, I painted the only teen idol inspired me .. Alejandro Sanz, and decided to call the Collection: “Blessed are you among all women” but, unfortunately, in the first exhibition was ruled so finally stayed in “TodasLASmujeres …”, period! “Montse Martin remarks.
Montse Martín is born in Lleida, Spain, where she grows up in a family rooted in art and sport. At age 14, she moves to Madrid as part of the Spanish National Rhythmic Gymnastics team, which wins the gold medal at the World Championship in Atenas’91. Upon retiring from the gym, she directs her life wholeheartedly towards her other passion: the world of design and art. She studies graphic design at the School IDEP in Barcelona. For five years, she acts as a graphic designer in advertising agency “Ados Communication.”
Later, she enters the world of photography through her partner, the photographer and actor Mark Schardan, where she learns through her portraits the value of the “look”. Currently she is a freelance designer and illustrator in various projects, while she alternates work as an actress and dancer, writing and presenting CONMOVIDAS and participating in musical DANCE OF THE TWO PIANOS.
“ALL THE WOMEN ..” has been exhibited in places as varied as the CCCB (Contemporary Culture Centre of Barcelona), Spain’s Big Brother’s house, SAFI and Mat Gallery in Barcelona, the art market Illa Diagonal Barcelona, the TV show X FACTOR (Spain), the International Contemporary Art Fair Kunstart in Bolzano, Italy, or the restaurant Ne me quitte pas, Madrid, among others.
