Once upon a time… there was a Family, telling ghosts stories, coming from far away… The main concept behind this outdoor range of furnitures was to imagine a kind of simplification of classic furniture. Exactly like when we put a sheet of tissue on an old sofa in order to protect the leather. The sheet is also simplifying the global shape of the furniture. This way of doing also create a spiritual reference to a ghostly environment in our mind…

The -ERT Family is composed by members: Albert the low chair, Robert the sofa, Filbert the low table. Those names are kind of “typical” french names and very classic and old at the same time, they clearly contrast with the modern style of the family, they are a wink to our past.

For Albert, Robert and Filbert the idea was to design something very comfortable in use and aesthetically, something round, a bit bold. Objects that tell you “please have a seat”. The all range was designed to fit in the roto-molding process, in order to create complete volumes in one time.
