Unit Portables is a system of bags and pouches that structures your gadgets in a smart way. Also, it protects your precious pods and gadgets from dangers in the outer world. And for sure, Unit Portables likes to be on the move just as much as you do.

All the main Unit Portables bags are designed with a unique system with strips with loops. The strips are sewn on the outside and inside of the bag. Thanks to poppers on the back of all smaller Units, they can easily be attached to the main Unit allowing you to customize your bag according to your specific taste and needs. That’s the beauty of Unit Portables!

Unit Portables is the outcome of a collaboration between like-minded individuals with varied backgrounds in design, fashion and technology, based in the creative hub of Stockholm, Sweden. This mix of ideas about what makes a perfect bag for a modern life, led to a new way of thinking and the launch of Unit Portables. Each of us now carries laptops, iPads, cameras, mp3 players and more, but there are few options out there that allow you to transport all these in an organised and secure way, whilst also focusing on delivering a cool, fashionable look.

Unit Portables™ most important “raison d’être”, as the French people put it, is to fill the gap between boring computer bags and snobbish fashion notebook bags. The beautiful thing however, is that Unit Portables fills both functional needs, as well as being really good looking to an affordable price!

Unit Portables is constantly working on more Units. Our aim is to consistently build on to the Unit system with new smart pouches and bags making it even more flexible. Today, Unit Portables 01-04 are available in Black, Green, Red, Yellow, Beige, White and royal blue. Unit 05-11 is currently being worked on by our product development team and will hopefully hit the market during spring next year. So, stay tuned!

Unit Portables is based on a clever numerical system where each unit has its own number. A unit is by definition any bag, pouch or other object within the Unit Portables range.

If you still haven’t found the right bag for all your weekend adventures, then this set might be the perfect one for you. Coming to you from the capital of functional modern design, Stockholm’s Unit Portables presents a new modular travel set built around a sleek, monochromatic canvas Overnight bag that joins together a series of bags, pouches, and sleeves that are smart enough to also function on their own. The Overnight Bag itself is minimalist in design, including one large zipper pocket leading into the main compartment that is divided by three rows of stitched webbing to organize the other pieces, which can also be attached with small metal snaps to the outside to give you additional storage options. Instead of a name, each piece of the set is numbered from 05 – 07 and include a similarly designed toiletry bag, a small cord organizer pouch, and Macbook case, which can come in an all-black colorway as well as beige, green, russet, and navy. The entire kit is set for an August 17 release, with several of the pieces already available for pre-order.
