Every painting portrait is unique, and yet each of them expresses the artist’s style. Agnes Cecile may be a young artist but has already mastered the art of eliciting an emotional response from the viewer.
Some works of Agnes Cecile reveal symbolic subjects, such as butterflies and birds. These symbols of flight, freedom and femininity add an additional emotional element to the drawings Cecile, giving the portrait subject another dimension of character to be admired by the audience.
Cecile uses a variety of application techniques to create visual interest in his paintings. Bold brushstrokes combine with splashes and sprays of color to create a background for the wildly imaginative person in the painting. Cecile often allows the paint to drip through the page, creating slopes and dribbling of color to accentuate the painting.
agnes-cecile (Silvia Pelissero):
Talking about her creative process.
An artwork arises from the need to say something, to convey something; there is almost an anxiety of having to create something immediately. In fact, even though as everyone I have a very specific creative process, I always tend to reduce all time to a minimum.
My creative process consists of taking notes on my sketch book about keywords I want to convey, then make few fast sketches of images that could be the best to represent them.I choose the final sketch, add some details and then I go straight away on canvas. And usually on canvas, starting from the sketch idea, I improvise following the inspiration of the moment.
