Rosé Restaurant
Rosé Restaurant is a new restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard, Los Angeles, where a French-Mediterranean menu is offered in a vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ playing nightly.Rosé Restaurant’s design is evocative of the glamour of St. Tropez in the 1960′s. The design and materials emphasize the joie de vivre fully embraced during those vibrant years.
The fluid beauty and flavor of the eponymous wine are present in the mobile reflections of the copper cladding, the glazed and mirrored tiles, the graceful softness of the banquettes.
In Rosé, the maple of the banquettes and coffered ceiling featuring reflective copper inserts is met with tongue-and-groove whitewashed wood cladding, a clear reference of a beach-side décor.
The French doors allow patrons to peer out onto the outdoor dining area on La Cienega Boulevard, while the passing pedestrians are drawn in by the energy indoors. Copper-clad wine bottle displays are aligned above the entry wall and the banquettes, and reverberate the rich color of the wine.
A centrally located communal table covered in peach mirrored mosaics welcomes diners to indulge during the after-hour party. The bar is crowned by a hand-made wrought iron fixture which vibrates in a play of shadows. The bar itself is clad with relieved glazed tiles…further adding to the soft indulgence of the space.
