The lamps LA and LD are two models of suspension lighting that were designed as objects that could contain and filter light as a result of the weaving technique incorporated.
Depending on the density of the wicker cordage that is used, either more opaque of more translucent, different shades of light can be produced. Furthermore, the lamp creates secondary light that is a result of the filtration of the primary light through the wicker frame. This secondary light is unique for both its warmth and tranquility.
The technique for creating these objects is comprised of two steps, the first being the creation of the metallic structure, and the second being the weaving of the wicker around this structure. The metallic structures are designed to maintain the form of the woven wicker and fabricated with the goal of creating the most efficient and minimalistic support.
