Israeli designer Haim Evgi has created a series of lighting fixtures called ‘Wings’, made of oak with a single bulb within. As the name suggests, the lights are inspired by the different bird wings. The collection includes table lamp, floor lamp and ceiling lamp. Shade made of solid oak; can illuminate up and down or left and right. Body is made of iron pipe powder paint finish.
“While these lamps are inspired by different bird wings, some of us may tend towards a stronger zoomorphic interpretation, for the lamp can appear to stand like a bird, with the solid oak shade as its head. A thin iron leg and base gives the lamp a perched stance, which takes up minimal room on a desktop or tight floor plan.” – Haim Evgi
The collection includes abstract and minimalist table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling lamps, where the thin iron fixture supports the lamp, while giving the impression of a singular form gliding through the air.
Haim Evgi Design Studio:
The wings are used for most birds to fly in the air, The lighting fixtures series presents abstract and minimalist wings and with the lamp body allows a thin iron fixture look like it is flying in the air.
“Wings” made of solid oak, the lighting hidden in the wood, directional lamp can illuminate up and down or left and right, the body is made of iron pipe powder paint finish.
