  • Water wise: Recycled water will meet 90 percent of the building’s water requirements, irrigating the green wall, rooftop banksias and other plantings. Waste water is treated onsite for use in washroom fl ushing systems and cooling towers, saving 100,000 litres per day, which equates to an Olympic size pool every two weeks.

International Highrise Award:

The office tower “1 Bligh Street,” in Sydney to win the 50,000 euro competition for the most innovative high-rise. The main tenant of the building, the law firm Clayton Utz, which has leased 15 floors. Developers of the 2011 completed high-rise are based DEXUS Property Group, one of Australia’s leading real estate companies.
